Bride without legs from Cebu who walked down the aisle goes viral on the social media

Published

A wedding video in Cebu City became viral in just a short amount of time as the bride entered the door of the church and walked on the aisle towards her groom at the altar despite the fact that she had no legs to stand on.

“I wanted everything to be perfect for my wedding. So I knew I had to walk down the aisle,” said Rosie Babor, the bride in the viral video. She wasn’t discouraged to push through the wedding ceremony considering that Cebu City was still put under quarantine. If the pandemic failed to stop the bride from marrying her groom, what else could having no legs do something to halt them?

As written in the articles of Elite Readers, Rosie and Mario had been seeing each other for more than a couple of years, and after crossing countless mounds and rivers, they got finally married in this month.

On her wedding day, Rosie actually planned to use her wheelchair but it seemed like her marriage would not be perfect if she, the bride, would not walk down the aisle. As the church’s door cracked open, everyone pulled out their phones and captured the lovely bride.

“It made the day much more special,” Rosie added.

Rosie and Mario’s wedding was attended only by their loved ones and close friends because of the coronavirus pandemic. A friend of them, Arvin Sumagang, greeted the newlywed.

“We are happy that the wedding was finally pushed through. They had to cancel several plans because of the pandemic. Their story is inspiring and I am happy that they found each other,” he stated.

A heartfelt photos of a father carrying his child and selling “taho” in Rizal made rounds after GMA News posted about their photos and situation, which already earned almost 149K reactions, 4K comments, and 8K shares.

The photos were originally from netizens, Jam Perry Branch and Aljun Tohanon, who noticed the father carrying his child and his taho as they passed they by. It was a heartflet sight to see, so they approached the father and asked a few questions.

Richard Paclibre, a 30-years-old father of a child, lives in Binangonan, Rizal. He becomes a single parent when he and his wife lost their communication, and is doing his best in supporting the needs of his child by selling taho in the streets.

In the photos, Paclibre was seen carrying his child—that was because his sibling happened to have errands to run, thus he decided to take his child with him. Branch and Tohanon were taken aback, and that they couldn’t help but post their situation on social media.

On October 6th, the uploaded photos from the netizens got viral and a broadcast journalist, Raffy Tulfo, pushed an initiative to help Paclibre. Facebook netizens commended the father and said:

“Salute sa lahat ng solo parents jan. Ikaw na ang tatay ikaw pa ang nanay. Hirap at pagod maging solo parent sana madami pang tumulong sainyo kuya lalo na kay baby.”

“Isa kang ulirang ama, hanga ako sau!
